Creamy Beet Smoothie.
Especially when my insides need a cleaning, I crave this smoothie something fierce.
It’s a chose your own adventure kind of recipe. Add. Subtract. Eliminate entirely. This is a rough outline, meant for the culinarily curious.
1 medium beet
1 sweet apple
1 small chunk peeled ginger
1 frozen banana
1 small handful frozen mango
splash of maple syrup
sprinkle of chia seeds
teaspoon of ashwagandha
teaspoon of chlorella
Chop, chop, chop and add ingredients to a blender. You’ll need one with some power behind it, I use a vitamix… and yes, it’s worth all the hype. I worship mine an unnatural amount.
Add water until ingredients blend together. I like my smoothies nice and thick, but if you like them thinner… keep adding water.
I like to add moringa, ashwagandha or chlorella powder to my smoothies, because I am into that sort of thing. I also like to top with hemp hearts and occasionally some goji berries.
Pour into your favorite vessel and enjoy. Eat/drink slowly and savor the spectrum of flavor. Vibrate from all the goodness.
